Porch Planter

Take an old dresser drawer, (4) spindle pickets from an old stairway, a little plywood, and add a touch of color and create a perfect little planter that can be used outdoors on a port, or inside as an additional storage unit for a list of items. We took the old dresser drawer and painted the face Yankee Blue and the rest of the drawer, spindle legs, and bottom tray lime green. We replaced the old pulls with new decorative knobs to match the new colors and finished the unit in satin poly. Perfect for storing potted plants, small garden tools, or a variety of outside or inside items.

Egg Basket Storage Container

We have attached an old egg basket to the base of an old coffee table to create this unique storage container. Container could hold blankets, teddy bears, balls, or any assortment of items in a child’s room or a laundry room.

Under Bed Storage Sliders

In most homes storage is in short supply. These under bed storage sliders allow for a large amount of storage that will slide under the bed and out of the way. Each slider has rollers that allow for easy maneuvering on hard floors or carpet. Available in any color and individually or as a set of 3.

Crate End Table

Apple crate side table utilizes an apple crate as its base with a pine wood top. Pinewood top is painted white – this can be customized. Top measures 19″ x 16″. Crate is 15″ wide and 12″ deep. Works great for additional storage space or work space in a living room, child’s room, or bathroom.

Vintage School Desk & Chair

Back to the days when our school desks and chairs were bolted to the floor in rows we have a vintage desk and chair that brings back all those memories. Desk has the open slot under the top where books, pads, and pencils were stored. Great accent piece for any room.

Blue Mirror Coffee Table

We happened to find this vintage art deco blue mirror coffee table under a pile of other older items. A little research seems to indicate that it came from the 1930s to 1940s. We can not verify that but looking at similar items online seems to confirm this. It is a very unique piece that would make a very functional accent piece for the hallway or living room. We have repainted and distressed the frame and legs on the unit. With the reflective blue mirror, we guarantee this will strike up a few conversations. Be one of few with a blue mirror coffee/accent table in your home.

Grey Small Cabinet

We have taken this small cabinet and restored it with new Driftwood Grey color paint along with a new metallic blue accent. Cabinet could be used for a variety of purposes including small TV stand, computer desk, storage, or possibly a small dining room hutch. Two center doors open to provide additional storage.

Three Shelf Church Bookcase

If you are looking for a small piece of history and you ever attended Mission Baptist Church, you might remember these three shelf bookcases that were located in every Sunday School classroom throughout the church. They held our Sunday School books, Bibles, and the offering baskets. Over the years they were discarded or damaged beyond repair. We rescued this one from the dumpster during the recent classroom upgrades at the church and added a light green distressed paint look. Three shelves provide a lot of shelf space for books, keepsakes, lamp, etc.

Vintage Sewing Machine Base Table

This unique display table combines an old Wheeler and Wilson cast iron sewing machine base and a new wooden top. Base was sandblasted and painted matte hammered black while the top was sealed with clear gloss polyurethane. The base still has the wooden pitman arm from the pedal to the flywheel. Perfect for displaying your keepsakes throughout the house.

Blue Twin End Tables

With blue being the color of the year for 2020, we decided to take an old dresser and saw out the center section thus leaving us two twin end tables. We reworked the tops and then painted the end table frames and tops cobalt blue. To help really accent the blue, we left the drawer facings their original natural color. To keep with the vintage look, we cleaned and reused the drawer pulls that originally came with the dresser. We completed the units by coating the entire units with satin poly. Tables are perfect for a lamp and storage in a wide variety of rooms within the house.

Floral Dresser & Mirror

We have picked up a beautiful used dresser and large mirror made by Lexington. The unique floral pattern is incorporated throughout both the dresser and mirror. Could be used in a child’s room, office space or display area. Dresser has five drawers. Mirror is designed to hand on the wall.

(Note: We have not painted, stained or distressed either item. Both items are used but in great condition. Please contact us if you need further pictures.)

Shutter Cabinet

We have taken two old window shutters, added a base, shelf and top to create this usable cabinet to store a variety of items. Bottom, top, and shelf are chalk painted in white, distressed, and sealed with dark wax. Back and top and bottom rims are chalk painted blue. Shutters were left unfinished. Short legs were installed under the unit to raise it off the floor.

Vintage Wooden Folding Chair

Before we all became accustomed to our small aluminum ballpark chairs, this vintage wooden folding chair would have been seen at the ballpark, picnics, or family gatherings. Chair is in remarkably good condition and still folds up as intended. We have added a light green chalk pain for accent of years gone by.

Painted Carpenter Tool Boxes

We have painted and distressed several of these reproduction tool boxes in a variety of colors. They make a great addition to any room in the house and can store all types of items. Perfect for a child’s room, bathroom, coffee table, etc. Can also be used as a planter for flowers.

Old Wooden Ladders

These wooden ladders were purchased at an auction over 30 years ago. They have been stored inside a barn out of the weather since that time. Ladders were used at the time of the auction so we have no idea of their age. They make great decorative items for weddings, social events, gardens, etc. There are various lengths and some could be cut to a desired length. There are more ladders than what you see pictured.

Crate Storage Unit

Perfect for a mudroom, entrance way, child’s room or anywhere in the house that you need additional storage. Four crates have been connected and attached to a plywood base to prevent movement while you fill with shoes, toys, etc. Base is raised off the floor with 6″ legs to allow for cleanup around the unit. Base and legs are painted white while crates were oiled to bring out their natural finish.

Highchair Planter

We took an old high chair, cut off the back and then cut a hole in the seat. A galvanized bucket was added to form a unique planter that can be used inside or out. We painted it green and then distressed it back to the wood. Perfect for a deck, porch or garden area by just adding plants or flowers to the bucket.

Wooden Display Cabinet

Unique handmade display cabinet designed to hold those smaller items around the house. Cabinet was built using one horizontal shelf and two vertical spaces for storage. Cabinet has a wood latch single door with the wheat design carved into the door. Cabinet is made from spruce pine with a walnut finish.

Vintage Wooden Dresser

Old vintage wooden dresser is a perfect size to be used as a display piece in an office, hallway, living room, or foyer. Dresser has two small drawers and two larger drawers for storage as needed. We have not refinished dresser other than cleaning and applying lemon oil to retain the original stain color.

Three Drawer Utility Cabinet

This small storage cabinet can serve a variety of needs within any room inside the house. It is a perfect size for those areas where you might need just a little more drawer space without having to take up a larger area in the room. We constructed this cabinet by cutting off the end of an old desk, reworking the top and sides, and then finishing it off with Burlap shade chalk paint while painting the drawer facings Flamingo. Appropriate pulls were added to accentuate the paint colors. Cabinet could serve as a bedroom nightstand, in a bathroom, or a child’s room to store an assortment of items.

Blue Habersham Shelf

An original Habersham Furniture Company piece, this long shelf would fill any vacant wall space you might have. Shelf has been slotted along the top to display dishes allowing them to stand upright without risk of falling. The original Habersham wheat design is cut along the entire front of the shelf. Originally stained a walnut color, we have painted the shelf a beautiful gray and distressed it back.

Wooden Entertainment Cabinet

Handmade cabinet was originally built to house a stereo system. Cabinet is made from spruce pine with a walnut stain finish. Cabinet incorporates two shelves and a storage space underneath – behind the two doors. A unique wheat design was cut into both doors. Cabinet can be used for a multitude of options.

Small Wooden Keepsake Box

Unusual in its small slender size, this keepsake box will work perfectly on existing furniture, in a corner, or even hanging on the wall. Slender design does not take up much space yet allows for display of a variety of items. Center shelf allows for multiple display locations. Wheat design was cut into the door and black hinges along with a porcelain pull completes the unit.

Vintage Chairs

Four older vintage chairs would make a unique addition to any room within the house. These chairs have some very intricate designs in the chair backs and some beautiful spindle work from the backs through the legs. We finished the chairs and the table with Moon Shade blue while painting the table legs white. Perfect addition for a sun room, living room, or even the dining room if needed.

Executone Suitcase Table

For those who are looking for something unique to provide display and storage in the house, we have married an old hardback Executone Suitcase to a metal plant stand base to provide a real conversation piece for your home. Metal base was painted white while the suitcase was left in the original color. Suitcase can be left open for books, a lamp, or any items you would like to display. Suitcase may be closed if needed for storage only. The original brass closures and hinges complete the unit.

Large vintage bird cage that can be used as a beautiful display piece in an office or home setting. The vintage matte gold color highlights the intricate design of the piece itself. Pool/Deck Pallet Table

Looking for the heavy industrial look around your pool or deck? We have incorporated these items in this pool/deck pallet table. We combined (2) heavy industrial wooden pallets, added treated lumber supports to hold the unit upright, and then topped it off with 16″ x 16″ granite landscape pavers. Pallets were painted white inside and out and then accented with a light tan pain to give it a weathered look. Granite landscape pavers were sealed with high gloss polyurethane. Pallet table will make a perfect addition to your grilling area as a place for plates, utensils, drinks, etc or can also be a perfect display table for outdoor plants or other items would wish to display.

Half Round Accent Table

This granite top half round accent table would make a perfect addition where space for a complete round table is not feasible in the home. Accent table top is granite connected to a metal decorative support base. We have finished the base in pure white gloss paint to pull from the white flakes within the granite. Vintage Fireplace Mantel

This vintage fireplace mantel was removed from the old Mission Baptist Church parsonage before its demolition earlier this year. The home was built in the late 1940s. The mantel would make a great addition to a new home if incorporated into the structure during construction. Mantel could also be used in a re-modeling project if needed. The mantel is still in great condition and its size allows for a large fireplace. Dimensions are shown below along with the fireplace opening size. A perfect way to add a piece of history to new construction.

Vintage Battery Rack & Baskets

Going back to the days of full service gasoline stations, many stations displayed their car batteries on battery racks like you see here. Battery racks were on wheels that allowed them to roll them in or out at opening and closing. We found this old battery rack and then decided to add baskets where the batteries would have been located. We painted the baskets flat white to accent the rusted patina of the old battery rack. This unit has a wide variety of uses inside (storage or display) or outside (planter). Own a piece of the past before items like this are gone forever.
